Learn a gentle therapy that can
make a profound difference
If you have ever felt drawn to helping others in a meaningful, hands-on way, Bowen Therapy could be the perfect place to begin.
Bowen is a gentle, intelligent and highly effective form of bodywork that works with the body's own innate ability to reset, repair and rebalance. Using precise moves over muscles, fascia, tendons and soft tissue, Bowen encourages change through the nervous system rather than through force.
It is subtle, yet powerful.
For some, learning Bowen begins as a personal interest. For others, it becomes the start of a whole new path, one that brings together physical wellbeing, nervous system regulation, meridian awareness and true mind-body integration.
Whether you are completely new to bodywork, looking for a skill to support family and friends, or wanting to add something deeply effective to your existing therapy practice, Bowen Therapy Training offers a unique opportunity to learn a modality that is both practical and profound.
No prior bodywork experience necessary. Just an interest in learning and helping people through a gentle, safe and natural technique.
Why learn with me?
I bring not only formal teaching experience, but decades of clinical and therapeutic understanding to the classroom.
I have been a Bowen Therapy practitioner since 2012 and a Bowen College UK tutor since 2019.
Alongside this, I bring over 30 years’ experience in the complementary health field as a mind-body integration practitioner, working with people holistically and always seeking to understand the root cause rather than simply chasing symptoms.
My background means I do not teach Bowen as a set of moves to memorise. I teach it as part of a much bigger picture:
-
how the body holds stress
-
how patterns develop
-
how the nervous system responds
-
how physical symptoms can be linked with emotional overload
-
and how gentle, well-placed intervention can create space for real change
Students often value not only what they learn, but how they learn, in a calm, supportive environment where questions are welcomed, confidence is built steadily, and the deeper meaning behind the work is never lost.
“Supportive, practical and inspiring. Amanda explains everything so clearly and gives you the confidence to learn. The course was beyond my expectations. Thank you indeed. ” Lasma

Small groups, deeper learning, greater confidence
All training is taught in small groups, and that makes a real difference.
Bowen is a subtle therapy. It is not just about where to place your hands, but how to feel, observe and respond. In a small group, you get the personal attention, supervision and feedback needed to truly understand the work.
This means you can:
-
ask questions freely
-
receive individual guidance
-
build confidence at your own pace
-
refine your touch and accuracy
-
gain hands-on practice in a supportive setting
Rather than feeling lost in a large training room, you are seen, supported and guided throughout the learning process.
For many students, this is what makes the experience feel so transformational.
